Our client, a leading professional services firm in Belfast, are recruiting an experienced Procurement Specialist.
Your new role
Working alongside the Procurement Manager in the preparation, negotiation and implementation of Global and regional contracts, including addressing contract renewals
Offering advice and guidance to stakeholders on all Procurement related matters
Maintenance of the procurement policies and procedures, assisting with defining and establishing cost and efficiency savings, cost containment practices and developing and managing contracts
Ensuring adherence to documented global procurement policies, procedures and processes
Assisting with reporting, analysis and project initiatives
Sourcing of goods and services via appropriate suppliers
Review of standard commodity and service contracts to verify and ensure compliance with global procurement standards
What you’ll need to succeed
Minimum of 2-4 years experience in a procurement role
Strong Microsoft skills, specifically Word and Excel
Relevant undergraduate degree with 2:1
Experience of working within a non-manufacturing environment
