Honeycomb is assisting our client, a successful training and public engagement business, with the recruitment of a Part Time Senior Administrator / PA (20hrs p/w).

Honeycomb is assisting our client, a successful training and public engagement business, with the recruitment of a Part Time Senior Administrator / PA (20hrs p/w). This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and have exposure to a role with lots of variety.

The Role

The role of Senior Administrator / PA is a crucial role and ensures effective day to day operation of the Business. Hours of work are Monday – Friday 9am – 1pm, though some flexibility may be needed in peak times. Typical duties will include:

  • Manage all incoming invoices and receipts, generating invoices and ensuring bank account reconciliation. Liaise with Accountants, compiling information relating to VAT Returns and company accounts.
  • Book travel & accommodation Compiling journey plans including flights, taxis, trains and car hire.
  • Organise and attend meetings, take minutes and note action points where agreed and ensure the MD is well briefed for meetings.
  • Book meeting / conference rooms as required.
  • Document preparation including reports, briefings, correspondence and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Research using internet, publications and other various sources as appropriate.
  • Purchase and manage all stationary and sundries.
  • Maintain phone, email and It systems.
  • Meet and greet visitors.
  • Assist with Tour Coordination and logistics.
  • Provide support to the MD, Business Manager and Sales & Marketing Manager where required.

Essential Criteria

To apply for this role you will have experience of working in a busy office environment. You will high attention to detail and will be competent in booking travel and planning itineraries, which at times can be quite complex. In addition, you will also need to have experience of finance duties such as invoicing, expenses, bank reconciliations and updating spreadsheets with financial information.

Package

The salary for this role will be £20 – £22K pro rata depending on skills and experience.
