As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll perform reactive and preventative maintenance to minimise downtime and capitalise the company’s machine performance. 
In this key role, you’ll spend most of your time on the production floor, carrying out mechanical or electrical repairs on machinery, equipment, building or utilities. 
Specifically, you will: 
– Respond to problems and assess them before identifying and implementing best fix solutions 
– Carry out temporary fixes when required until a more permanent resolution can be found 
– Work with suppliers to maximise equipment and machinery output 
– Complete logs and documentation 
– Help to drive and implement continuous improvement initiatives 
– Suggest ways to further enhance both processes and plant or equipment 
To be considered, you will need: 
– At least three years’ maintenance experience, gained within a similar production environment 
– Sound mechanical and electrical knowledge 
– The ability to effectively manage projects and complete tasks within deadlines  
Proactive and analytical, as a Maintenance Technician, you’ll have a creative approach to problem-solving and strong team-working skills. You will also be self-motivated, eager for a challenge and committed to continuous improvement.
