Your new role
You will join the dedicated and long serving maintenance engineer team on a day shift Monday to Friday production floor. Its a mature work environment where your input and opinion is valued and encouraged and you’ll enjoy the challenge of always being tested and seeing new kit. The role is technical support to production, preventative and reactive maintenance for whole of site and helping with the regular investments and upgrades in new equipment.
What you’ll need to succeed
Our client looking at experience form all backgrounds within production maintenance, mechanical or electrically biased because they recognise everyone can bring new ideas and perspectives and this fresh set of eyes can bring greater innovation. As with all production maintenance roles they’ll need some flexibility to help with overtime and want you to take pride in your plant and what you deliver as a team.
What you’ll get in return
Valuing good people, they reward with a top of market payrate, currently up to £14.50 per hour which is great for a Monday to Friday day shift maintenance engineer job at present. Overtime will be on average around 5-10 hours per week and is paid at time and a half and they rotate a half day Saturday on overtime between the team every few weeks. The holiday and pension set up is higher than market average also, again rewarding their people with a top of the market total offering.
