We are looking to recruit experienced Production Line Engineers/Technicians for our client, a high speed, high volume manufacturing company, based in the Ballymena area.

The Role:

To oversee and efficiently resolve any maintenance/engineering issues which may result in delays to production schedules.

Key duties include:

  • Attend and negotiate multiple breakdowns with Senior Technician and/or Shift Manager
  • Provide comprehensive breakdown information and actions taken to support planned maintenance system
  • Carry out all planned, preventative and corrective maintenance tasks in accordance with maintenance systems
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities – working with other departments to overcome production and quality issues
  • Aid operators with any downtime issues which affect production
  • Support line trials and communicate with customers when required

The Person:

The successful candidate will have:

  • Time served qualification in mechanical or electrical discipline
  • Working to deadlines in a highly pressured, fast moving environment
  • Relevant work experience in an Engineering/Maintenance role within an industrial/manufacturing environment
  • Experience in troubleshooting and fault finding

Hours:   5 / 2 shift pattern (7am – 7pm)  (1 week 5 days, following week 2 days – fortnightly rotating)

Salary:   Higher than industry standard for Day roles.   Overtime paid at time + half.
