MCS Group is thrilled to be assisting with the recruitment of a HR Business Partner, for a private sector organisation based in Belfast, on a full time permanent basis.

Reporting to the Senior HR Manager, the HR Business Partner will work closely with managers & employees to develop & maintain a positive work environment.

The role

The HR Business Partner will be responsible for ensuring effective delivery of all HR aspects for this function, working in partnership with HR colleagues to ensure excellent service is provided to managers & employees at all times, in a consistent manner.

The successful HR Business Partner will work closely with various internal stakeholders throughout the Belfast team, understanding current and future requirements regarding various HR issues, including recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for resource plans to ensure there is a steady pipeline of top talent, ensuring the employers brand is strong, attracting the best talent in the market, at all levels.

The successful HR Business Partner will be a key point of contact for employee relations issues, including disciplinaries and grievances, ensuring all employee issues are dealt with promptly and efficiently. The HR strategy will be very proactively, ensuring line management is up skilled to deal to employee relations issues at an early stage in the process.

To apply for the role

Suitable candidates will possess a relevant degree, ideally be CIPD qualified and have HR Business Partner experience, where they have worked with senior stakeholder,

  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent), ideally possessing a CIPD qualification
  • 3 + years’ experience at HR Business Partner or equivalent level
  • Excellent relationship management and influencing skills.
  • Strong experience around complex employee relations
  • Recruitment experience, at all levels
  • Sound understanding of recent employment legislation
