Abacus Temporary Business Services team, are delighted to support our long standing client, a leader in the textile industry to appoint a HR administrator on a temporary ongoing basis.

Why This Role

You will work alongside a highly experienced HR manager and departmental managers to help support their recruitment, on boarding and HR needs. This is a temporary ongoing role and is ideal for a recent HR graduate who are looking for the perfect opportunity to kick start their career.

The Role

As the HR administrator you will provide full support to the internal HR team and help with the advertising and shortlisting or roles, creation of offer letters, scheduling training and all administrative support required within the HR department

The successful applicant will be required to undertake the following duties:

  • Provide HR Administrative support across a number of key HR areas
  • Maintain relevant HR files in line with data protection – clearing paperwork backlog, filing, scanning and ensuring accuracy of HR records
  • Support with high volume recruitment campaigns
  • Support with new starter inductions
  • Support HR queries etc
  • Managing and tracking vacancies via the e-recruitment system
  • Scheduling of interviews, both candidates and panel members.
  • Dealing with candidate queries via the central recruitment telephone line and email service.
  • Provide support for ad hoc administration activities as required by the Team Leader.

  • HR administration experience
  • Excellent administrative skills with a proven track record of producing high quality work within tight deadlines
  • Positive and proactive attitude
  • Excellent communication
  • Competent in Microsoft Office packages
  • Ideally working towards completion of CIPD
