Hours: 25 per week

 

Job Summary:

Primarily to work within the hospitality department delivering food and serving private dining rooms.  This role will also assist in the Glasshouse Restaurant and the Coffee Shop as and when required. The role will be on a 9 Month Contract basis to cover maternity leave. The hours you will be expected to work in this role are 09:00am-14:00pm on Monday to Friday.

 

Essential Criteria

Previous knowledge of the hospitality industry, excellent customer focus and customer service, a high standard of personal hygiene, and the ability to follow all health and safety practices. You must have an eye for detail and deliver great food in professional manner. You will take pride in your personal appearance and maintain the established uniform.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Liaise closely with customers and your catering colleagues.
  • Work with the Hospitality Supervisor in preparing, serving and clearing of events and functions.  
  • Ensure all hospitality is served in a highly professional manner
  • When required to work with the catering assistants in the main staff restaurant at hot food counters, deli and sandwich bars. 
  • When required to work within our BT2 Coffee Shop and Bakery section. Preparing specialty coffees, teas and serving bakery items.
  • Carry out any reasonable requests made by your line manager

 

Must have:

  • Previous experience within the catering industry
  • Be customer focused at all times
  • Be flexible and willing to work across all catering outlets as required.
  • Basic Food Hygiene level 2

 

Desirable Experience:

  • Working within the hospitality sector
  • Operating coffee equipment with a good knowledge of specialty coffees
  • Cash point – pay stations
