JOB TITLE: Health and Safety (HSEQ) Manager. ROLE: Further developing and managing all HSEQT policies to ensure compliance with all current legislation and best practice. LOCATION: Dungannon, County Tyrone. SALARY: £35,000 - £45,000, company vehicle.

As Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality and Training Manager you will be responsible for further developing and managing all HSEQT policies to ensure compliance with all current legislation and best practice. Based out of their County Tyrone office, you will play an important part in overseeing all health and safety matters for the Northern Ireland operation.

Due to ongoing success and a significant increase in current workload, they are looking to appoint a HSEQT Manager to look after their NI operational teams.


As Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality, and Training Manager, some of the role’s duties will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Managing, controlling and implementing the HSEQT Management System, in line with ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
  • Ensuring compliance with all HSE statutory duties are met.
  • Reporting to Senior management on the performance of the Quality Management System and any need for improvement.
  • Implementing an effective KPI framework and ensuring all systems and processes are rigid, fit for purpose and that they are fully aligned with customer and legal obligations.
  • To offer competent advice on HSEQT matters to the company and its staff.
  • Ensure continual improvement and development of HSEQT targets and objectives, in conjunction with Senior Managers.
  • Assist with tender deliverables.
  • To complete safety audits and produce site reports.
  • Deliver training where required.

To be considered for this exciting new role you must have:

  • Experience in a Senior HSEQ role within the construction/civil engineering sector.
  • Experience of utilities would be desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation and regulations.
  • Qualification in a relevant discipline such as NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduate or Chartered member of IOSH.
  • Highly organised and adaptable individual with very strong IT skills, specifically MS Office suite.
  • Previous experience of developing an IMS would be beneficial.

You will also have first class interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
