Exciting Graduate Position, Highly Established Contractor, Guaranteed Training and Development

Hays Construction have been retained in the recruitment of a Graduate Quantity Surveyor for a highly established contractor to be based in their civils division. This company currently operates within the UK building and civil engineering sectors. Involved in million pound contracts, they have secured and completed a portfolio of award winning construction work in Northern Ireland within the public and private sectors including healthcare, educational, water and transport infrastructure as well as industrial and commercial developments. Due to consistently increasing workloads, they are now recruiting for a Graduate Quantity Surveyor for their civils division.
Your new role
You will be working within an integral part of the business as part of the Commercial Team within their civils division, working on a variety of projects across NI and the UK. You will be heavily involved in assisting the Senior Team in the preparation and management of the project budget. Due to the location of projects, UK Travel will be required.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will be degree educated in a construction related disciple, and have at least one year experience working for a construction company. You will have a keen eye for detail and ensure that all aspects of your role are delivered efficiently and to a high standard. You will have a general level of proficiency in ICT and demonstrate the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, staff, suppliers and subcontractors. You must be ambitious, commercially astute, and keen to establish yourself as a Quantity Surveyor with an established main contractor who will be offering you training and development.
