The Role

Working within the Environmental department the following is an outline of the role:

  • Review and update the companies Environmental Policies ensuring compliance.
  • Prepare and submit when required any IPPC Permits, Consent to Discharge Permits, Environmental Reports and Annual report for NIEA.
  • Monitor and report on the companies Environmental KPI’s
  • Monitor and report on weekly environmental audits.
  • Implement and lead projects to assist the company in its targets for water, waste, noise, emissions and energy reductions.
  • Ensure compliance to REACH and COMAH regulations.

The Person

The candidate for the Environmental Advisor – Environmental Officer job will have the following qualifications and experience:

  • A minimum of a Degree in an Environmental Science / Management or related subject.
  • Minimum of 3 year experience in Environmental role.
  • Experience in dealing with external stake holders.
  • Have extensive knowledge of UK and EU environmental legislations and compliance including and not limited to IPPC permits, Consent to discharge permits etc.
  • Have experience in working to ISO ‘s
  • Experience in delivering Environmental reporting and training.
