Your new role
As an electrical maintenance engineer you will be carrying out electrical maintenance and installation on a variety of factory equipment. You will carry out diagnosis along with planned and preventative maintenance. You will ensure Health and Safety Rules and Regulations are adhered to and carry out inspections to electrical systems guaranteeing compliance with codes. You will also be writing up maintenance documentation and keeping records.
What you’ll need to succeed
The successful candidate will need to take a pro-active approach to fault finding, be able to prioritise workloads to keep downtime to a minimum. You will need excellent communication skills and note improvements to support production efficiency and capacity. You will be able to read electrical drawings while showing the ability to maintain, install and modify equipment. You also need to be flexible to shift work, holiday periods and willing to take part in a ‘call out’ system. You will have an electrical qualification 17th Edition and knowledge of 2391 regulation or equivalent
