Within our client the Data Analytics team delivers leading edge analytics and automation services to some of the most innovative clients, large or small, across the globe on technologies such as data analytics, workflow management, integration platforms, robotics, and machine learning. As a Manager joining this team youll have the ability to help to shape the future of this area.

Key responsibilities

As a Manager in Data Analytics, you can expect to play a leading role in end-to-end opportunities in analytics and automation projects. You will build on your existing industry and technical knowledge to support us in guiding our clients through the challenges of implementing key business transformation initiatives, which drive change and process automation within an organisation. You will be involved at every stage of the process throughout design, build and operate.

A key component of the role is interaction with client stakeholders (often at a senior level). Youll lead on fully understanding the business context and the nature of the clients requirements, before determining the right approach and solution, ensuring that there is a clear link between our work and value creation for the business.

Key responsibilities will include the following:

  • Analytics solution assessment and design
  • Planning, managing and executing the delivery of engagements
  • Hands on delivery of solutions through the entire life cycle including day to day management of ongoing engagements
  • Supervising the data analytics team including managing and mentoring team members
  • Writing client reports including findings and recommendations
  • Reviewing and quality assurance of data and analytics work products
  • Engagement assurance and commercial risk management
  • On-going business development both internally and with clients

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Experience in building and delivering data and analytics solutions
  • Practical experience with database tools, such as, Microsoft SQL Server tools (i.e. SSIS, SSRS, SSAS)
  • Industrial knowledge of data transformation tools (e.g. Alteryx, Knime, Informatica)
  • Deep knowledge and skills in data visualisation tools (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau)
  • Experience in agile software development (e.g. Kanban, Scrum)
  • Core skills in IT enabled transformation delivery
  • Ability to work with clients to translate requirements into technical design
  • Degree level qualification or equivalent by qualification or experience
  • Relevant technical accreditations and/or professional project management qualifications
