Grafton Finance are currently working alongside a growing manufacturing company who are a leader, within their niche industry, in UK & I. We are working with this company to recruit an Assistant Accountant to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a suitably experienced individual to join a dynamic, forward thinking company and gain experience in a management accounting and transactional finance environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with preparing monthly financial/management accounts
  • Bank Reconciliations, Credit Control, Payroll
  • Purchase/Sales ledger
  • Nominal Ledger
  • Fixed Assets & Sales Analysis
  • Various Ad hoc finance duties

Key Skills

  • Previous experience at Assistant Accountant Level
  • Advanced Excel and good systems skills, preferably Navision
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work your own and maintain high levels of accuracy
  • Studying towards a Professional Accounting Qualification (such as ACCA, CIMA, ACA etc)
