MCS Group are proudly working with a dynamic and forward thinking accountancy firm as they recruit an accounting technician to join the Co. Down based team.

The Company

You will be joining a progressive and innovative practice that is local to NI. Our client is recognised for their specialist tax services and proactively provide a range of accounting solutions to a wide variety of businesses. You will benefit from the hands on and supportive working environment whilst contributing to their continued development.

The Role:

You will be responsible for a range of duties including the production of monthly management accounts, preparation of accounts, personal and corporate tax returns, VAT returns, and other ad-hoc duties. Due to the firm’s personal service, you will in essence become a financial controller within a lot of the businesses you are working with, offering business advice and consultation to clients and contribute to their own business improvement.

The Requirements:

You will have previous experience working in an accountancy practice; be AAT Qualified; have a minimum of two years experience in a similar role. The successful accountant must adept in a range of accounting systems.
