We have both full-time and part time positions available, which are ideal for anyone who is interested in a change of career whilst being able to revalidate their PIN throughout. These positions offer a new challenge for medical professionals who no longer wish to work in a clinical environment and can work more sociable hours.

No previous experience is required, and full training will be given to prepare new assessors for their role.

As a disability assessor, you will play a vital role within the UK’s health system by assessing the context and circumstances of individuals with various health conditions who are applying for PIP (personal independent payments). It will be your job to ensure that those who need help and assistance from the government, will get the help they need by writing accurate reports on your findings which will then be forwarded to the DWP for consideration. The role will include spending time carrying out the assessments within clinics and out in the community, while the administrative tasks can be completed from home, giving you a degree of flexibility.


Essential Criteria:


  • At least two years’ post-registration experience and must be registered with the NMC / HCPC / GMC with a valid PIN.
  • Hold a full UK driver licence and have access to a vehicle
  • Have great report writing, assessment and regular IT use
  • Be able to fully commit to 6 weeks training
